I'm having trouble with Bluetooth pairing. Can you help?

Of course! Here's a video that outlines the Bluetooth pairing process for the Between 3ANC.

I'm trying to pair it to multiple devices simultaneously — say a smartphone and a laptop (this is known as "multi-point" pairing). How do I do this?

Multi-point simply requires you to establish a connection with each device individually.

To set it up:

  1. Turn on your Between 3ANC, and pair with device #1.
  2. Disconnect from device #1.
  3. Pair your earbuds product with device #2.
  4. Re-Pair with device #1.

You should now be paired with two devices — the Between 3ANC will receive audio from whichever device you play audio from first.

I can't connect my earbuds to Status 3ANC app.

The app is only compatible with our Between 3ANC earbuds. Please note that the Between Pros, Core ANCs, and CB-1s do not currently support app compatibility at this time.

Before attempting to connect your earbuds to the app, please ensure that the Between 3ANC is already paired with your device via Bluetooth. Once successfully paired, proceed to connect it to the app. We also recommend that your device’s software is up-to-date.

Between 3ANC / Between Pro

My earbuds are sounding "thin", "tinny", or are just generally lacking bass. What's going on?

It's likely you don't have a proper in-ear seal. An airtight seal is crucial to hearing the full frequency spectrum (especially those low notes).

Try sizing up ear-tips — so if you are using the medium ear-tip, try the large size. Please also note that the earbuds require full insertion in your ear canal.

The Between 3ANC features a companion application available for download in your preferred app store under the name 'Between 3ANC'. This app allows users to customize the equalizer settings according to their preferences which includes increasing bass. However, for users who prefer a simpler experience, the product offers three preset sound modes designed which you can choose from depending on your liking.

I'm having issues charging the battery.

First off, make sure you are using the provided charging cable. Aftermarket cables can sometimes have compatibility or quality issues.
The product will show a red light when it is charging, and a blue light when it is fully charged.

If your earbuds are not charging, try a hard reset:

  1. Place both earbuds inside the charging case
  2. Keep the case lid open
  3. Hold the button on the outside of the charging case until both earbuds flash purple

We also recommend cleaning the contact points located beneath the earbuds and within the charging case. It is possible that debris may be obstructing the charging process. Here is a video on how to do it.

Do you provide replacement ear-tips?

We do sell foam memory ear tips in our store, compatible with both Between Pro and Between 3ANC models. You can order them here.

The caller on the other end cannot hear me. What should I do?

It's possible that your device is utilizing its built-in microphone instead of the earbuds, resulting in the caller on the other end being unable to hear you. Adjusting a setting on your device should resolve this issue! Also, don’t worry as this will not be impacting any other earbuds or headphones previously paired with your device.

Here is how to do it:

Ensure the earbuds are positioned correctly, with the base pointed towards your chin and mouth for optimal voice pickup. Additionally, ensure they are paired with your device before adjusting settings.

For Apple Users:

  • Go to your phone's settings -> Bluetooth -> select "3ANC" or "Between Pro" -> Device Type -> choose "Headphone".

For Android Users:

  • Navigate to the phone's Settings > Bluetooth > Select the gear icon to the right of the Bluetooth device > At the bottom of this screen you should see 'Use for' and choose 'Call Audio'

CB-1 / Core ANC

My headphones are physically damaged. What are my options?

In the case of physical damage, we offer our customers a 50% discount towards a brand new set of headphones. We consider most physical damage to be user-inflicted, but still help out our customers with a partial credit.

If you believe damage occurred due to a defective product, or the headphones have any other problems that aren't a result of misuse, we will certainly hear you out.

My headphones have lost sound on one side, or the sound has become crackling and distorted. What should I do?

Send us a note using the contact form, describing the problem with as much detail as possible. Including your order # (from the original confirmation email) always speeds things up.

Pro tip: if your CB-1 has lost sound on one side, try a different cable — that will clarify if there's a problem with the cable, or the headphones themselves.

My CB-1 ear pads have started to degrade. What can I do?

We can help you out with replacement ear pads. Give us a shout using the contact form.

Unfortunately we are not able to provide replacement ear-pads for the Flagship ANC or Core ANC.

My headband snapped. What are my options?

We typically offer customers with snapped headband partial credit towards a replacement set. We consider this user-inflicted damage, although if you believe your headband snapped as a result of a defective product, we will certainly hear you out.
