Earbuds With Potential
I purchased my Status Between 3ANC Earbuds in November of 24. Upon positive reviews I decided to buy a pair as I was in the market for a new pair of buds. I'm a musician so I would fit in the category of an "audiophile" and considering I use Beyerdynamic and Bose products, I have high expectations for audio products.
Out of the box, these buds sound really nice. Balanced sound, clean base, crisp highs, sufficient mids. You won't be disappointed with the sound. Of course I utilized the customizable EQ feature in the app which is always clutch. Took a little time to create the right sound but once I did I was jamming hard.
The fit is good, not great. You're ear wants to naturally push things out of it. After about 8 to 10 min, depending on what your doing, they start to get loose. This would have been mitigated with some type of earhook style wing tips. Definitely not a deal breaker though. They're a tad bit bulky so watch it when you're taking off your shirt or hoodie. They always catch on to the collar. However, they are not heavy. You won't notice them in your hear half the time.
Touch controls are decent. I like the volume up and down feature. Just hold the right for increase. Hold the left for decrease. Tap to stop music. Tap to restart. Double to for next song on the right bud double tap for previous on the left bud. However, the song forward/previous is pretty inconsistent. Most of the time you just end up turning the music off.
