GoldenSound is Cameron Oatley, an audio engineer and reviewer. He uses careful measurements, state of the art research and extensive experience in the high end audio industry to understand what makes great sound. For this edition, he led the research and shaped how Pro X sounds.

Your head and ears change sound before it reaches your eardrum. An in-ear monitor must replicate these effects precisely to deliver the same result your brain expects from real-world sound.

The diffuse-field head-related transfer function, or DF-HRTF, is the characterization of what your brain expects as 'correct'. With extensive research and development, we were able to get closer to true neutral than any product has achieved before. (With some careful improvements on top, because who doesn't love a bit more bass?)

We measured how true neutral sound is changed by the ears from hundreds of directions in a specialist laboratory. The research included GoldenSound’s own ears and the Brüel & Kjær 5128, the current state-of-the art ear simulator and headphone measurement fixture.

Those measurements helped us account for the test system’s own effect on sound. GoldenSound then adjusted the sound of Pro X further based on existing preference research and extensive listener focus-group testing.

Research into what people enjoy hearing helped GoldenSound refine the balance of bass, voices and instruments. The aim is deep, impactful bass alongside natural, lifelike sound.

Never been keen on earbuds always headphones but I decided to have a go ans bought the Technics 80z and surprised with the quality impressed until my bulldog decide to put an end to them 😒. Until the day on Facebook I saw this Status earbuds which I never heard before the reviews rating as 5 star when I looked to the price first thoughts another rubbish but I didn't want to spend to much so I had a go first impression when it arrived the package was impressive earbuds looked very high end quality paired them up very fast indeed and moment of truth when did put them on my ears couldn't believe what I was earing absolutely shocked. The fidelity in all parameters very impressed and as a musician is the best buy out there very high end buds will struggle to beat Status and the support is 💯 %. Congratulations Status

status just keeps getting better-worth every penny

I would have been completely happy even if I’d paid full price for my ProbX earbuds. I came from a pair of the Between 3ANC earbuds which I still love, but the Pro X are truly a HUGE improvement for dynamic range, noise cancelling, and even more compact size. Not having the fit wings is not noticeable, and with 3 sizes of silicone and memory foam tips, fit was not an issue. I use these every time I work out, and they have never threatened to fall out. It is an immersive experience.

The only thing I’ve noticed is a slightly reduced battery life when compared to my Between 3ANC, but it not enough to kill the love of the new Pro X set.

It was all going well until…………

I have the 3 ANC and it was that which persuaded me to pay for the Pro X . Smaller, Lighter, better and more flexible sound quality - what’s not to like. Well I get them and am immediately impressed until yesterday… when the Right Ear unit has failed and refuses to reconnect. So, it was a 5 stars up until then - only being a month old I have to give it a one and request a replacement, which I am confident will allow me to revise that rating.

Pues sí, he descubierto sonidos en canciones que eran inperceptibles, su calidad de sonido es realmente excelente, es una delicia escuchar música, se disfruta al máximo..

Sin embargo le doy 4 estrellas por dos razones:

*Tenerlos puestos un poco más de una hora empiezan a incomodar..

**Su batería debería durar más tiempo, relativamente se descarga muy rápido..

Greatest Quality & Sound!!

I’m on my 3rd version of Status earbuds and they just keep getting better! I started with the black Between Pro, then they gave us older folks with white hair the white Between ANC ( I have 2 sets) and now for even better quality and sound the white ProX! I’m not one to talk about the bass and such, I’ll leave that to the younger folks but I’ll tell you the sound is amazing! I use them to watch tv shows on my iPad and the words are crystal clear and so easy to understand everything being spoken. I use them when cleaning my house and listen to music and I take them on my walks with my dog and listen to podcasts. I do have the other “fruity” brand and never use them. I’m actually giving those to my grandson.

You will not be disappointed with Status!!
