GoldenSound is Cameron Oatley, an audio engineer and leading voice in the audiophile community.
He is known for pairing rigorous measurement with critical listening, and contributed the research, tuning, and final voicing of the Pro X GoldenSound edition.
The GoldenSound Edition builds on everything that made the standard Pro X exceptional: its award-winning hybrid triple-driver acoustic system, peerless engineering, advanced noise cancellation, and superior software experience.
The difference is the sound: GoldenSound developed a new tuning to deliver a more natural and lifelike presentation, paired with an exclusive black-and-gold color pattern created for the collaboration.
The Pro X GoldenSound Edition was tuned to align more closely with the way people actually hear than any in-ear monitor before it, wired or wireless.
Its sound was developed through one of the most rigorous measurement programs ever applied to a wireless earphone, combining full-sphere HRTF research at Imperial College London, Brüel & Kjær 5128 measurements, and re-derived listener preference targets. The goal was never to sound great for an earbud. It was to create sound your brain accepts as real.
Because your outer ear and ear canal reshape every sound before it reaches your eardrum, achieving that level of realism demands exceptional precision. More than a year of research and development, using state-of-the-art methodology, went into doing exactly that.
Not at all. GoldenSound developed the tuning with audiophile-level rigor, but the benefit is universal: music sounds more natural, balanced, and lifelike. You do not need to understand measurements, codecs, or frequency-response graphs to hear the difference.
Pro X GoldenSound Edition supports SBC, AAC, and LDAC.
On iPhone and other Apple devices, audio is transmitted using AAC. On compatible Android devices, LDAC enables higher-bitrate, high-resolution wireless playback. LDAC is not supported by iOS.
Pro X GoldenSound Edition is also officially Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified by the Japan Audio Society.

I own two pairs of the pro's
I have to say I was skeptical, but when I reached out because I missed the deal on bying two pairs your customer service honored the deal. Impressed, once I received them I was amazed by the sound quality and the sounds you could pick up on them. I have worked with bands and always listen, I guess you have to have an ear for music. These are the best I have heard. Thank you for really making something sound so good.

a New level of music
